My handsome guy

I snapped this picture of my ten year old the other day and I love love love it so I had to share.

Stand out!!

Here is another new product we have – I LOVE this one – for all sorts of reasons.  It is called a standout print.  Basically it is your print attached to a black thick piece of foam with a finished edge.  It is super light so you can hang it anywhere, and it is ready to hang.  No joke – ONE nail.  It can’t get any easier.  And they look so clean and unique.  I have two hanging in my house – you could also lean them up against a wall on a table or shelf or prop them up on an easel.

I did one of them as a collage and it turned out pretty fantastic.

The back – yes – it’s that easy!

Baby Eli

One Fabulous thing about my job – I get to be around brand new parents all the time!  I love first time moms and dads – there is something incredible about being around them.  It’s like I get to remember those first moments all over again.  Those moments of looking at that little miracle and just being completely and utterly amazed and in love.  I’m not saying I don’t still have that feeling over my own children – I really do – but it is mixed in with field trip permission slips, football camp signups, barbie shoes, potty training, time outs, homework, preschool show ‘n tell, and temper tantrums – so it’s different.  Mr. Elijah is a first born and his parents were wonderful and very much in love with their new little man.  Thanks so much for having me over to meet you all – Eli is wonderful and I look forward to watching him grow over the next year!

Eli and his daddy both have crooked pinkies – I love this picture…

Happy March Madness!

Happy March Madness all!  Good luck on your brackets and enjoy the next two weeks of basketball bliss!  Go Spartans!

The basketball hoop cookies I made for Kobe's class

A scene with the Bosley Babies.

Mom – beautiful woman- wearing designer jeans and tank top, extremely fit, tan and with perfect makeup and hair (it’s my story – leave it alone).

Jackson – 2 year old boy

Madison – 3 year old girl

Enter: Jackson spills Nerds all over the floor.

Mom: “Jackson pick those up.”

Jack – half attempts to pick up one. “Sissy – can you pick those up for me”

Sissy – “no Jack – you made the mess you clean it up”

Jack – “I can’t you’re my big sister – I’m just a little boy”

Sissy – “Well you made the mess – you shouldn’t make a mess next time.”

End of scene.  Or at least the end of me documenting the scene.

I had to race over to my laptop to document this “scene”.  It was so funny and such an accurate illustration of them and their birth orders.  Madison is such a bossy mommy and Jackson totally plays the baby card and has the entire world waiting on him.  Funny kids – always keep me laughing.
