Looooove you two…

33 weeks!

Taking my own maternity pictures last time taught me so much that I had a little extra time down at the studio the other day so I gave it another whirl. Not that the pictures are that much different aside from me getting larger and larger! But not only do I think I will be glad I have these down the road but I really have learned so much for the upcoming maternity shoots that I have! We are in our 34th week now. It’s hard to believe that our baby will be here so soon! I love you so much already little girl – I can’t wait to meet you!

Madison wanted her and Jax to be “twinsies” today for school so she picked out their outfits. Such cuties!

Jax is getting so big {and adorable}. And you can tell by this picture – he has “huge muscles.” 🙂

Builder guys

My poor dad has had a “to do” list a mile long from me with everything I have wanted to get done before the baby comes. He has been over nearly every day or night this past week doing things for us! The second he walked in the door yesterday Jax ran upstairs – got on Jeans like Boppa, got his tool box and filled it full of his tools and came down to help fix things. He calls himself and Boppa – builder guys. It’s about the cutest thing ever.

The not quite so cute part was when he was upstairs helping Boppa – he apparently got into the laundry room where we keep everything and got out spackle and a putty knife and decided to patch all the non existent holes in the hallway that I just painted. Then when he got some on the floor he went and got a bath towel and shampoo and used that to “clean” the carpet. Sometimes his helpfulness and independence is exhausting.

Photo Booth

My kids love to do photo booth shoots – they are really fun and we can do them as a part of your shoot too! Just let me know ahead of time so we plan for it.

Happy March Madness

Today is a double holiday in the Bosley House. Not only is it St. Patty’s Day {which Madison couldn’t be more excited about} but it’s the kickoff of March Madness. Every year we fill out our brackets, Matt and I take the 1st Thursday off and spend the entire day watching the games and I make basketball cookies for Kobe’s class. I absolutely love the next two weeks!  So good luck on your brackets, go Spartans, and Happy St. Patricks Day!!

This year I coated Oreo cookies in almond bark and then either added orange sprinkles or orange frosting, then just used green gel frosting to turn them into basketballs.

I have to leave the house by 6:30 am on Thursday mornings for a meeting so I set out a little breakfast surprise for the kids.  The banner was super easy to make and the printables can be found here. I pulled the printables from here for the spoons.

These are the basketball cookie/cupcakes I have made in the past for Kobe and his class.  To make them you just bake up some sugar cookies and an equal amount of white mini cupcakes.  Frost the top 3/4 of the cookies and the mini cupcakes with white frosting. Then just outline with orange gel frosting the “backboard and rim”.
